Hello, there, I'm Mr. Zane. All my lady friends call me Zaners or Zanie or Zoomie Zane. The first thing you should know about me is that I have a long list of lady admirers (the chics dig me). None of them can resist my big brown eyes, my sweet gentle kisses and they all swoon over how I love to carry my duck with me everywhere I go. Despite my popularity with the ladies, I'm really just looking to settle down with that one special person. You see, I have some trust issues. The humans say I was likely "dumped" and so I lived as a stray for a bit, was eventually taken to a shelter where I was passed over time and time again. Misunderstood, that's me. If you need an instant best friend, you are barking up the wrong tree, You have to earn my trust, I need someone who's patient and kind and who understands my fears. But, if you take a chance on me I promise you won't be sorry. I'm as loyal as they come. Seriously, if we are on the Titanic, I'll let you have the door. That's me- I'm Jack. I'm honestly not sure why I am considered "shy" and "timid?" Just because it scares me when new people come right into my space? I mean, is that how you humans do it? Just barge into each other's houses and demand instant affection? (if so, you humans are all kinds of weird) Listen, I'll be cool with a proper introduction, we can be very fast friends if you offer me a treat (did I mention I LOVE treats?) I do love treats and oh how i love stuffed toys and play time and did I say treats? But, most of all I would really love a family of my very own. Well, maybe just a human of my very own. Kids make me nervous (always invading my space, what's up with that?) SO, to summarize - I'm looking for a loving, patient human with no small children to call my very own.
